Merely roasted in a sizzling oven till barely brown and bubbly, then pureed with a touch of ginger and a small quantity of water.

This puree is creamy and delicate and excellent for infants first meals.

I added the ginger for 2 causes.

  • 1 medium acorn squash
  • 1/4 tsp contemporary ginger root finely grated
  • 1/4 cup water breast milk or inventory
